Since the turn of the century, over 30 films with Christopher Walken have either been released or are currently in production.  A startling volume of work given the time Walken has spent on non-movie related projects.

In the summer of 2001, Walken appeared in Anton Chekhov's "The Seagull", at Central Park's Delacorte Theater.  Members of the star-studded cast also included Meryl Streep, Kevin Kline, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Natalie Portman, Marcia Gay Harden, and many others, including Meryl's son, Henry Gummer.

Late in 1999, Chris took on the starring role in James Joyce's "The Dead", which opened at the Playwrights Horizons and moved to Broadway's Belasco Theater in 2000.  Walken was nominated for a Tony Award as "Best Featured Actor in a Musical" for his performance in that play.

Recently, Chris has been interviewed by the likes of Conan O'Brian and David Letterman, and in May 2001, Walken hosted the season finale of Saturday Night Live.  In that same year, Chris won an American Comedy Award for his appearances on SNL. Chris has gone on to host SNL a total of seven times.

There is a reason why Walken's characters often tend to break into unexpected dance routines.  Chris has said that he tries to add dance steps to all of his movies as his own personal "Homage to Broadway."

Of course in 2001, Walken knocked our collective socks off when he danced his way through Fatboy Slim's multi-award winning music video Weapon of Choice.

Chris also danced in Madonna's 1993 Bad Girl music video, where he played the role of Madonna's Guardian Angel.
